Love of beauty is taste. The creation of beauty is art.

Writers, musicians, sculptors, painters and the faithful are the ones who make things out of nothing. Everybody else, they make things out of something, they have materials. These five kinds of people are kin.

A painting can be carried inside the mind for a lifetime, before ever being put onto paper! Painting is the silence of thought and music of sight. If you are creative, if you have a curiosity in the arts of painting. Then it's time, to manifest your creativity by a pre-eminent form of art even if you are not a free hand artist. Glass Painting is very engrossing to do. Because every portrait that is painted with the feeling is a portrait of the artist, not of the sitter.

If you want your home, your office, drawing room to get beautiful by your creation, then I must say glass painting is an amazing option for you. The cup of coffee, or the glass of wine which you minister to your guests, if it gets a tint of paintings, then it gets a rarefied appeal. If you want to gift your loved ones something by your hand, then glass painting is a right option for you like a wine glass decorated with painting or a glass painting well decorated.

This is quite easy, and can be done without many hassles. But before starting glass painting, you must be well aware of paints available for glass painting-

  • Stained Glass Paint- It is suitable if one wishes to include a variety of colours on the piece of glass.
  • Matte Paint-             It is useful when you want to complete coverage without translucent aspect.
  • Vinegar Trace Paint- If you want to add a tint of colour it is suitable.
  • Silver Paint-              You can use silver paint, for painting a clear glass bowls or vase, giving a translucent             effects to the painting.

Now, only the tips must be given importance, before embarkation of glass painting which will come out salubrious.
-) The piece of glass to be painted must be plain, smooth, clear surface and of appropriate size (as per your painting) and free from dirt and dust.
-) Use a piece of clean cloth and surgical gloves while handling the glass piece.
-) If you are not poised about your authority of painting then trace the piece of painting in a sheet and place below the glass as a reference, it is advisable to keep the glass and sheet size twin.
-) Those who choose Ca rte Blanche style are advised to place a piece of cloth below the glass, for precision while painting.
-) Jot the design from the sheet with the black liner in the kit. The liner is a brink for your masterpiece.
-) The lining must not be broken in between  or have bumps rather it must be a unwrinkled and must not overlap each other, as it obstruct the paints from getting into each other zone.
-) The lining must be given more time and drawn with patience, if the lining gets overlapped then you can flit it with the help of blade or outline thinner.
-) It is advised to not draw the outlining in chronological zone.
-) Now,the painting is ready to be adorned with alive glass paints.
-) Before, you start painting , you must be having one thin watercolour brush and cotton.
-) The splendiferous synthetic glass paints come in bottles with tapering nozzles, which are easy to apply on glass directly.
-) But glass paints are also available in wide bottles, which is to be applied using the water colour brush.
-) The paramount concept while applying paints, is to avoid the bubbles. The bottles should be stirred well, before use and paints must not be blended with water.
-) The glass piece must not be moved, until the glass paint dries completely.
-) The paint, if not applied in sequence on a particular zone, is beneficial to you.
-) The paint takes a minimum of 5 days to get dried.
-) You can go for dual coating wherever you like, to append extra texture into your painting, but after only your initial coating gets dried.
-) After it gets dried, your masterpiece is ready to be framed and hung on the wall of yours or your loved ones.

Your paintings are your own creation and every time you open your art, you show the world a glimpse into who you really are.
